Many resorts on Rarotonga have “island nights” to showcase the traditional dancing and costumes of the Cook Islands. The Edgewater Resort & Spa is no exception, with Tuesday and Saturday nights set aside for these events.
The Cook Islands are located in the South Pacific Ocean, between French Polynesia to the east and Tonga and Samoa to the west.
The only real town in the Cook Islands is Avarua. It is located on the north coast of Rarotonga along the Ara Tapu.
Like other islands of Polynesia, the Cook Islands have an abundance of bright, tropical flowers and other plants.
